Shortly it is a pay method where users input information to login to their bank to complete a purchase. Whenever a customer sees "online debit" as a pay method in a merchant's checkout, the user will go through the following sequence: 1.) User is prompted to type in the name of their financial institution- Whether is a bank like Wells Fargo, HSBC, Chase, or TD, Scotiabank, RBC for our Canadian clients; any major bank and most smaller credit unions etc. are supported.. 2. User sees their bank login screen within the checkout and enters information (user never leaves merchant shopping cart) 3. Payment Processes, Verifies and Completes Payment. A receipt, and all relevant order information is passed to WooCommerce orders backend and or your SmartPay account dashboard.
